SOL Conservatory Roofs £2.5 million factory is now up and running!

Following two years of meticulous planning, SOL Conservatory Roofs finally opened its doors in January 2019

Although trading officially commenced in January, behind the scenes the owners of the company have been manufacturing roofs for trade supply under the name SolarFrame Limited. SolarFrame have been producing conservatories, orangeries, solid conservatory roofs, skypods, windows and doors in significant volumes for over ten years.

With demand for conservatory roofs outstripping capacity, they knew this was the right time to focus the attention on roof products and launch SOL – a specialist manufacturer in conservatory roofs, specifically for trade.

The 23,900 square foot Unit B at Capitol Court, Barnsley (just off Junction 37 of the M1) was the perfect location. The £2.5 million factory was part of the latest phase of development at Capitol Park, following its transformation into a quality industrial and business location.

The factory has created lots of welcome new jobs in the area and are actively recruiting for a Team leader.

It’s hardly surprising that they wanted to fully kit out the brand new £2.5 million factory with specialist state of the art machinery.

SOL have optimised the space by installing an innovative vertical warehouse, that saves floor space by making the most of available vertical space.

The factory manufactures solid roofs, glass roofs & skypods for trade customers in the swiftest time possible, delivering to site 7 days after the customer order.

Managing Director, Matt Grafton states ‘what all customers can expect is reliability, technical support, ultra-keen prices and a comprehensive range of products when they place their valued business with SOL Roofs’.
